Abstract:[Purposes] In order to solve the problems of material damage and blockage of the conveying channel caused by the flipping and inversion of the tray box during traditional unloading machines,a new type of rod-shaped material unloading device is designed.[Methods] The device uses a specially designed tray to store rod-shaped materials.When unloading,the end wall of the specially designed tray is opened to form a conveying channel. Through the synchronous cooperation of the unloading mechanism, horizontal feeding mechanism,and horizontal conveying mechanism in the device,the material is transported from the tray to the downstream channel by a large flow conveyingand emptying method.[Findings]The test was conductedona7.7mm diameter filter rod produced by Mudanjiang Cigarette Material Factory Co.,Ltd. The experimental results showed that the new rod-shaped material unloading device achieved a unloading speed of 16OoO pieces per minute,with an eficient and smooth unloading process and no damage to the filter rod.[Conclusions] The new rod-shaped material unloading device meets the operating speed requirements of the auxiliary equipment in the ultra high speed winding and packaging production line,providing an effcient and reliable new solution for unloading rod-shaped materials .
