AbstractThe efects of deep fertilization on soil nutrients,plant nutrient uptake,plant growth and development, crop yieldand qualitywerereviewed.Proper deepapplication of nitrogen fertlizer,phosphorus fertilizer,compound fertilizer,andorganicfertilizercanallincrease soilnutrientcontent.For example,deepapplicationof nitrogenfertilizer (10-25cm)canreducenitrogen leaching and volatilizationlosses insoil;as the depth ofcompound fertilizerapplication increases,theabilityof nitrate nitrogen in thesoil tomove downward increases.Proper deep fertilization enhanced nutrient absorption eficiency incrops.Fertilization in appropriate soil layers can promote thegrowth and development of crops,increaseschlorophyllcontentinleaves,improvesphotosyntheticcharacteristics.Appropriatedeepfertiliation aligns the activerot zones with nutrient supplyareas,and improves fertilizerutilization efficiency.The impactof deep fertilization on yield and quality varies among crops,but proper deep fertilization generally enhances both.This study provides a reference for determining optimal deep fertilizations for diferent crops and exploringthe benefitsof yield increase with reduced fertilizer input.
