Research on Digital Health Literacy Education for Special Populations in Public Libraries

AbstractDigital-intelligentservices driven bydigital-inteligent technologies have becomeanew driving force for healthliteracyeducationforspecialpopulations inlibraries,andhavealsobroughtnewopportunitiesforpubliclibraries to bridgethedual diferences between service provision and user needs.This studyanalyzes relevantdata and factual informationbasedonthe methods ofcase studyanduser survey to summarizethebasic statusquoof the supplyof digital health information literacyeducationforspecialpopulations inpublic librariesandthe diffrences inuser needs.Itis found thathesupplyofdigitalhealthinformationliteracyeducationservices forspecial populations inpubliclibraries ismainly reflectedinthree dimensions:building digital health information literacyeducationplatforms,innovatingdigital health informationliteracyeducationmethods,and expanding thescopeofdigital health information literacyeducation.Public libraries shouldadopt moreactive strategies fordigital health information literacyeducation for special populations,and realizethevalueoflibraries inpromoting social inclusionand justiceinthedigitalerabyclarifying thescopeand goalsof health information literacy educationaudiences,fine-tuning theneedsand contentsof digital health information literacy educationactivities,and enhancing thecapacityand efects of digital health information literacy educationservices.
