International Practices of the Integration of Culture and Tourism in Public Libraries from the Perspective of the Six Components in Tourism

Abstract The integration of culture and tourism has been atopic of common concernamong various cultural and tourismorganizationsandinstitutionsbothathomeandabroadinrecentyears.Underthebackgroundofthegeneraltrendof theintegrationofcultureandtourisminpubliclibraries bothdomesticallyandinternationally，athorough explorationof theadvanced experienceof the integrationofcultureand tourisminforeignpublic librariescanserveasareference and source of inspiration forthedeepintegrationofdomestic librariesandthe tourism industryAccordingly，bydoptionof thematic frameworkanalysis methodand basedonthe theoryof sixcomponents in tourism，throughathematic analysis of23setsoftextmaterialsontheintegrationofforeignpublic librariesandthesixcomponentsintourism，athree-level integration theme is proposed inthispaper，namelytheoverallthemeof"theintegrationofforeignpublic librariesand thesixcomponentsinourism，sixthemesof"traveling，lodging，catering，ightseeing，shopping，andentertainng"，and 19 sub-themes.According tothis，thefivemajorcharacteristicsoftheintegrationofcultureandtourismin foreignpublic librariesareidentified：convenience，unqueness，oveltyinclusiveness，ndmulti-functionalityonhichthefutureplications for the developmentofthe integrationof culture and tourism in domestic public librariesaresummarized.
