Abstract:Numericalsimulation wascariedoutbyusing theFluentsimulationsoftwareandcombining it withthesituationof the workingface 3906inamine toinvestigate thepropagationlawof gas explosion inaU-shaped ventilationcoal mining face andto explore thesensitivitiesof theoverpressureatenuationof agasexplosion todiffrentinfluencingfactors.Therelative errors between the numerically-simulated resultsand experimental ones are less than 1 5 % ,whichverifiesthereliabilityof the mathematical model developedinthispaper.Then,thekeyparameters,namely,gridsize,iterationtimestepandignition temperature are optimized to 0 . 2 m, 0 . 0 5 m s ,and 1 9 0 0 K ,respectively.Numerical simulation indicates that the relationship between the peak of the explosion overpressre and the distance away from the explosion center of the coal face meets an exponentialfunctionrelationship.The relationshipbetwee thearival timeofthepeak explosionoverpresureandthe distance away from the explosion center mets a linear function.By designing anorthogonal array,16 sets of data were obtained through simulation,andthe folowinganalyses wereconductedbasedon this data.The extreme diferencevaluesof thethree main control factors were obtained by using extreme diference analysis.The extreme diference value ofthe temperature is the greatest,theoeofthegasconcentrationtakethesecond,andtheoneofthegasaccumulationareapressureis theleast.The most significantimpactof thetemperatureontheexplosionoverpressureatenuationinthenumericalsimulation,inwhichthe R -value reaches 5.928. ANOVA analysis was carried out to study the significances ofthe main control factors afecting the explosiooverpressureatenuationrate.Inthethreemaincontrolfactors,thesignificanceofthetemperatureisthemost,the oneof the gas accumulation zone presure comessecond,and theone of the gas concentration is the weakest.And the temperature shows a significance level of31.835, while the other two factors are not significant.
