Common Prosperity of Farmers and Rural Areas in the Context of Chinese Modernization： Logical Connotation， Stage Process， and Practical Path

Abstract：BasedonthebackgroundofChinese moderization，this paperdiscussesthegenerationlogicandraconnotationof farmers’common prosperityinruralareas，analyzes thethree stagesof therealization process，constructs thecorrsponding evaluationsystemandsetsthestage goals.Throughquantitativeanalysisoftheachievementandtrendofthegoalofcommon prosperityfor farmersandruralareas in31provincesofChinaby2O25and 235，atwo-stage practical path hasbeen proposed.Theresearchresultsindicatethat，interms ofachievement，mostregions haveachievedatargetachievementateof 90% （20 by 2025 and over 70% by 2035.Among them，the achievement of shared prosperity among farmers and rural areas is higher thanthatofoverallprosperityandthedifferenceinsharedprosperityismainlyreflectedintheconsumptiongapbetweeurban andruralresidents.Thesort-ershortcomingsofoverallprosperityareconcentratedinthespirituallifelevel，andthefocus of mediumandlong-termimprovementshouldshift tocontinuouslyempowering materiallife.Fromtheperspectiveof implementationsituation，thegrowthraterequiredtoachievethefirststagegoalisgenerallhigherthanthatofthesecondstageand it is expectedthatmostregions in Chinacanachievethegoalofcommonprosperityforfarmersandruralareas by2035as scheduled.
