Regional comparative trial of soybeanvarietiesin Jiaxiang County

AbstractTo screen soybean varieties suitable for planting in Jiaxiang County,Shandong Province,a regional comparative trial was conducted using 14 varieties,including Hedou 12,Jiadou 119,and Daoqiu 60,with Hedou 12 as the control(CK).Theindicators suchasgrowth period,agronomic traits,economic traits,diseaseresistance,yield,and quality were measured.The results showed thatin the 2O22 regional trial,the growth periodofthe varieties ranged from 92.6 to 107.9days,plant heightfrom56.4 to84.3cm,efective pods perplant from 40.4 to 68.9,grains perplant from 86.8 to 139.8,grain weight per plantfrom 20.2 to28.9 g,and100-seed weightfrom17.4 to29.1 g.Traits suchas grain shape,seed coatcolor,seed luster,hilum color,purple-brown spot rate,and insect damagerate all performed well. Except for Xiangxing 4and Xiangxing 919,allother varieties exhibited resistance or high resistanceto soybean mosaic virus strains SC-3 and SC-7,the yields were .Based on the 2022 regional trial,Shengdi 16, Daoqiu 60,Jiadou119,and Jundou12 wereselected for their moderate growth period,excellent agronomic and economictraits,andhigheryields,andwereadvancedtothe2O23regionaltrial.Thetwoyearregionaltrialresultsshowed that Shengdi16,Daoqiu 6O,Jiadou 119,andJundou 12 exhibitedhigh and stable yields,with yieldsoverthetwo years increasing by 5.06% to 6.08% compared to CK.Their protein content ranged from 39.83% to 41.54% ,and crude fat content from 18.98% to 20.97% . In conclusion, Shengdi 16,Daoqiu 60,Jiadou 119,and Jundou 12 demonstrated superior overall performance and were recommended for production trials.
