Weed Control Effects of Pyroxasulfone ? Diflufenican 35% SC and Its Selectivity Assessment to Wheat in Fields

Abstract:In2O23,fieldtrialswereconductedinHenanandAnhuiProvincestoevaluatetheeficacyandselectivityof pyroxasulfone ·diflufenican 35% SC in controlling weeds.The results demonstrated that pyroxasulfone ·diflufenican 35% SCat250g a.i./hm 2 achieved plant and fresh weight control effects of 94.42%,88.25%,93.93%,and (204號(hào) 97.65% and 97. 64% ,92. 45% ,95. 95% ,and 98. 15% against Lolium multiflorum Lamk.,Bromus japonicus Thunb.,Descurainia sophia(L.)Webb ex Prantl,and Alopecurus japonicus Steud.,respectively,which were significantly higher than those of diflufenican 30% SC at 150ga.i./hm2 against these four weeds. It also showed that control effects of 94.93% 91.30% and 97.28% , 93.78% onStellaria media(L.)Vill. and Galium spurium L., respectively,significantly surpassing the effects of pyroxasulfone 40% SCat 180ga.i./hm2 .Theyield increased at different dosages of this herbicide were 35. 73% ,41. 68% ,and 44.22% in Henan,and 38.60%,43. 92% ,and (20 47.32% inAnhui,outperforming the yield increases achieved with pyroxasulfone 40% SC at 180 g a. i./hm2 and diflufenican 30% SC at 50g a.i./hm2.Pyroxasulfone·diflufenican 35% SC at 250,500 ga.i./hm2and flufenacet 30% SC at 150 ga.i./hm2,some wheat exhibited chlorosis oralbinism on the first emerged leaf,which recovered 30 days after treatment. In conclusion,pyroxasulfone·diflufenican 35% SC had excellent control effects on the main weeds in wheat fieldand was selectivitytowheat and showed promising potentialfordevelopmentandapplication in weed control in wheat fields.
