Evaluation and Spatial-temporal Analysis of Urban Resilience Level in HenanProvince

Abstract:[Purposes] This paper takes 18 provincial-level cities in Henan Province as the research object to study the urban resilience,and makes an empirical analysis on the temporal evolution and spatial distribution of urban resilience in Henan Province in 2013,2017and 2021.[Methods] The entropy method was used to constructthe urban comprehensive resilience evaluation system by using the entropy method for health and well-being,economy and society,infrastructure and ecology,and urban management subsystems.[Findings] In terms of time,health and well-being and urban management resilience shows an upward trend,economic and social resilience shows a downward trend,and infrastructure and ecological resilience shows a slight downward trend.In terms of space,the spatial distribution of urban comprehensive resilience in Henan Province shows an obvious'core-periphery' patern.The central and western Henan Province is dominated by high leveland medium-high level,while the southern and eastern Henan Province is dominated by low level and medium-low level.[Conclusions] The resilience optimization strategy is put forward to provide reference for urban construction and economic development in Henan Province.
