Abstract:The developmentofnew spacecrafts has putforward higher requirements for bearing capacity,service life and lightweight of space mechanism.Ion nitriding technology,as an important means of surface strengthening, has high value in the manufacturing of high-performance,long-life,high-reliabilityand lightweight space mechanisms. The latest research progress ofion nitriding technologyof typical aerospace materials is introduced,and thecurrent technical gaps and future development directions are proposed.
